NBA Finals: Three Keys to a Miami Heat Bounce-Back Win in Game Three
Last Thursday night, the Miami Heat were seven minutes away from taking a comfortable 2-0 series lead with them to Dallas. Instead, they faltered and put themselves in some what of a debacle.
Game three will tip-off on Sunday night at 8:00pm eastern time, with the series all even at 1-1.
Although this Heat team has proved history to be wrong several times this year, history does suggest that it is vital for Miami to win game three if they want to end up NBA champions. Since adopting the 2-3-2 format for the Finals, 11 series have started out tied at 1-1. Of those 11, the winner of game three has gone on to win the entire series every single time.
Taking game three on the road in Dallas will be no easy task for Miami, especially after the confidence and momentum the Mavericks surely gained from game two's wild finish. Let's take a look at what the Heat must do in order to have the best shot at re-gaining control of the series.
